Filk: Diagnostics on Your Mind
Hello everyone :D
So I'm new here (*waves*) and I decided to take a go at Singing (Filk)songs 'Round the Campfire Challenge . This could very well be awful, but, hey, I tried :P
This is set during the Tritter arc and is dedicated to all of the awful things, both real and imagined, that Tritter does to poor Wilson.
Sung to the tune of the ever wonderful "Heaven on Their Minds" from the ever wonderful Jesus Christ Superstar. Link to the version from the new movie because there's palatable sexual tension there. This came out of me being obsessed with House, obsessed with JCS, wanting to find a perfect song and taking "Finding Judas" to a whole new extreme. Enjoy!
Diagnostics on Your Mind
My mind is clearer now
At last
All too well
I can see
Where we all
Soon will be
If you strip away
The license
From the man
You will see
Where we all
Soon will be
Greg House!
You've started to believe
The things they say of you
You really do believe
What Cameron says is true
And all the good you've done
Will soon be swept away
Vicodin’s begun to matter more
Than getting the right X-ray
Listen Greg House
I don't like what I see
All I ask is that you listen to me
And remember
I've been your right hand man all along
Now that Tritter’s set me on fire
All because of your thermometer
And they'll hurt me when they find your drugs
I remember when this whole thing began
You were a jerk even before the infarction
And believe me
My strange love for you hasn't died
But every word you say today
Makes Tritter engage in foul play
And they'll hurt me if they think you've lied
Princeton-Plainsboro’s famous son
Should have stayed a great unknown
Or at least left cops alone
And not broke my bones
Treating clinic guys like guests
And not grabbing Cuddy’s breasts
He'd have caused nobody harm
No one alarm
Listen Greg House, do you care for my face?
Don't you see we must keep in our place?
Tritter hates you
Have you forgotten how sensitive I am?
I am frightened by the his stick
For it is really way too thick
And he’ll crush me if I don’t sign this
If I don’t sign this
Listen Greg House to the warning I give
Please remember that I’d really like to live
But it's sad to see our chances weakening with ev'ry punch
Tritter will beat me blind
Too much diagnostics on your mind
And now I think my blood’s gone sour
Yes it's all gone sour
Ah --- ah ah ah --- ah

Does this mean what I think it means? LOL.
