Summary: Sequel to Birthmarks. Think The Social Contract 5x17 and everything that happened in canon still applies. Months have passed since: (a) Jimmy was officially adopted by John and Blythe, (b) House and Wilson have patched things up after Amber. The past looks at how Jimmy finds his way in the world when Greg goes off to college, the present enmeshes canon with the odd missing scene here or there (and more Cuddy).
Warning: Unapologetically long chapter - didn't want to half it. Alludes to infantile abuse/contains explicit abusive scene towards the end.
