If you've posted any of the following stories elsewhere under another name, or know of someone who has, please let us know, and we'll be more than happy to move them to their own little curtained cubicle in the Emergency Room.  And to try to make things a bit easier, we've grouped these fics by author, in the hope that if anyone can find one fic by a particular author, maybe they can find some others while they're in the neighborhood. :)

WIP Waiting Room

Maintaining several versions of the sick!fic lists is a very time consuming process, and WIPs present some special challenges that can create a lot of extra work for us.

For example, all of the chapters may not be linked yet, or the true diagnosis may not emerge until later in the story and we have to go back and shuffle things around a bit.  Or the muses may have a mind of their own, and what started out a sick!Wilson fic might turn out to be something not very sick!Wilsony at all--like an alien abduction scenario with Nurse Brenda, a random clinic patient, and the weird night janitor who wears his pants backwards. ;-)

That's why we decided awhile back to hold off on adding any new ones until they were complete -- to make sure they meet our criteria.  Unfortunately, while that arrangement made our lives a little easier, it wasn't helpful to you if you were looking for a WIP and couldn't find it in our archives.

So we came up with what we hope is an acceptable compromise.  We've given these WIPs their very own private waiting room on this thread, with all the amenities.  We'll even share our chocolate. :D
