It can feel hotter than usual during the dog days of summer.

But did you know that could also be due to an increased sensitivity to heat*, which can be a symptom of certain diseases, or side effect of some medications?

So in addition to Wilson having to worry about suffering from heat stroke, heat exhaustion, burning his hands on the steering wheel and/or a hot seat belt buckle, etc., he could also be suffering from an underlying medical issue.

Summary: Set in the Kelpie AU. When Wilson opts not to have his cancer treated, Cuddy enlists House aka Pete’s help. Pete’s methods, however, are as drastic as ever and in the end everyone pays heavily.

Hi there campers!

I hope you are all having a good time at camp! The Canon Mysteries fireside chat at the campfire is still going, and the three sentence story challenge is open for both prompts and stories. In the Bingo tent you can find Freestyle Bingo Fics and Pics!

Today I am offering an excuse to look at pretty pictures of Wilson a picture challenge.

At the sick!Wilson Sick!Pic gallery there are over 400 screencaps of Wilson suffering from some sort of physical injury or illness.

Comment below and I will assign you a random sick!Wilson screencap. Use that picture as a basis for a drabble, a story, a poem, limerick, manip, video, drawing, macro, icon or whatever other creative endeavour you can dream up.

The only rules are that the picture must have some sort of link (however tenuous) to your creation, and that there is a sick!Wilson element. Every entry earns a badge from our self serve range.

What Now

Title: What Now?

Rating: PG, for mentions of drug use and a tiny bit of swearing but nothing serious or concerning.
Summary: It takes place between the end of “Help Me” and the beginning of “What Now?” in an alternate universe where Cuddy didn’t show up the night of the crane collapse. So, when Wilson gets stuck in the Window, House is alone and he knows he’s alone.
Warnings: A tiny bit OOC, a tiny bit of drug use, maybe triggering if you are a recovering addict but probably not, also very angst ridden.
Characters: just House and Wilson yet again
