It is sad that he would have a reduced life span like that, but his cardiac condition is a serious one. In some cases heart transplants are necessary but the life span of someone undergoing a transplanet is no better. That's why he and House are living by carpe diem. Some people live until they are ninety but never really live, they just exist and then some only until their sisxties but they live everyday to it's fullest, sucking out the marrow of their existence and enjoying it to its fullest. That's what I'd like to think Wilson and House will do here.
