I adored this. But I think it might be a good idea to put some sort of spoiler tag in the warnings section for "terminal illness" or something like that. Because I really wasn't expecting that the story would end with Wilson being lucky to make it to age 60. :-(

My apologies if it upset you. I will definitely add the warning and be more sensitive to that in the future.

It is sad that he would have a reduced life span like that, but his cardiac condition is a serious one. In some cases heart transplants are necessary but the life span of someone undergoing a transplanet is no better. That's why he and House are living by carpe diem. Some people live until they are ninety but never really live, they just exist and then some only until their sisxties but they live everyday to it's fullest, sucking out the marrow of their existence and enjoying it to its fullest. That's what I'd like to think Wilson and House will do here.
