It's okay. Unless you told it not to allow any links anywhere on the page (which seems unlikely since other people are posting links here), it's LJ's fault for not recognizing the link. If you post a link another site (say facebook) to a different part of the site (say you post a link to a friend's profile page) they recognize that it's a safe link. LJ doesn't seem to be able to do that.
