Title: Hits Like a Girl (Chapter 5)
Characters: House, Wilson, Amber, maybe more characters down the road
Rating: I’ll say PG for now but later chapters will have stronger ratings because they will be more graphic.
Spoilers: Up to “Living the Dream”
Summary: House notices that Wilson has been behaving strangely ever since he and Amber started dating. House quickly discovers that his friend is being abused physically by Amber, and is willing to do whatever it takes to rescue his friend.
Warnings: some ooc/ AU, violence/ physical and psychological spousal abuse that may get more graphic in future chapters, some swearing in this chapter more to come. And there might be a slash relationship between House and Wilson in future chapters.
A/N: I decided that Amber is going to have a medical issue that makes her lose control and beat Wilson sometimes, which means that—hopefully—House can figure out what’s wrong, fix her and then the three of them will figure out how to live together and be happy.
Words: 145 in this new chapter (712 total)
Chapter Three
Chapter Four
“Yeah, right,” Amber complained when I told her Jimmy and I had food poisoning. I made a loud retching sound.
“Wilson’s in the bathroom right now but I can bring the phone to him if you want. I’m sure he’d love to chat,” I offered. I knew this would do the trick.
“Can you keep him tonight? I have to be at work early. Make sure he drinks something with electrolytes.”
“No, really? In my four years of med school, and 25 years as a real doctor, I hadn’t figured out how to keep people from getting dehydrated.”
“You lied to her,” Jimmy muttered, laying his drunken head on my shoulder. “I’m gonna get in trouble now.”
“Not when we prove she has a pheochromocytoma and save her life,” I explained. “Now we just hafta figure out how to get her to do the tests.”
