Have you ever had a brilliant idea for a story in which Wilson gets sick or hurt, but you couldn't quite figure out what to do with it?  Maybe the muses were fickle and abandoned you in the midst of the creative process, and an unfinished fic continues to languish on your hard drive.  Or maybe you have the opposite problem, and your plot bunnies are multiplying faster than you can keep up with them.  Perhaps you've never been bitten by the writing bug, but have spent countless hours daydreaming of ways to torture Wilson with various injuries and/or illnesses.  Whatever your situation, wouldn't it be great if you could find a good home for your neglected plot bunnies, where they could have an opportunity to thrive under someone else's tender loving care?

sick_wilson is pleased to introduce the Adopt-a-Plot-Bunny Program—a forum designed to bring ideas and writers together.

If you want to offer a plot bunny for adoption, provide a brief description of the type of illness and/or injury that you'd like to see inflicted upon our favorite oncologist.  Plot summaries are also welcome.

If you're a writer and decide to adopt a plot bunny, please credit the person who provided the concept for your story.  A reference to sick_wilson would be greatly appreciated if you cross-post to other communities.

Hm. I shall donate a few bunnies. If no one takes these, I'll probably get around to them eventually.

1. Wilson's yawning was not caused by Prozac. He really wasn't taking anything. Without meaning to, House has just diagnosed him with a cerebral tumour. He's just that good.

2. While walking Hector, Wilson is attacked by pit bulls. Or some other extremely strong dogs. Mmm, chunks of flesh.

3. There was a spate of fics where Wilson prostituted himself to Tritter on House's behalf. How about one where House pimps Wilson out to Tritter?

4. Autocannibalism. Seriously, I want to do this but anything I think of is derivative. Perhaps House and Wilson go camping in the pre-infarction times, and Wilson is separated from House and resorts to eating himself...

Hee, this is cool. I can offer my poor dying WIPs up for adoption (I always have tons of WIPs, and most of them never get finished).

It's the first 500 words of a very basic emotionally!hurt!Wilson fic which I had forgotten about completely. Dead patient, balcony comfort, the works ^^. Here's an excerpt:

With a sigh, House fished for his cane and levered himself to his feet to go out on the balcony. As he stepped outside, he shivered. Wilson always had to pick the cold, windy days to be miserable on the balcony.

If anyone wants it, I'd be very happy to see it being continued/finished. I probably won't do anything with it, though. Oh, and it's slightly spoilery for "Autopsy".

Really, any sort, but I want a good chunk of memories missing. I'd really appreciate the focus on House and Wilson (friendship or otherwise). Maybe something along the lines of Wilson not remembering House b/c of a combination of head injury and mental stress that House puts him through?

{2} Okay, so there's a number of fics out there that I know of where House gets into a fight over Wilson. Well, what about the other way around? Wilson gets into a fight defending House (or maybe just because of him). Humor would be fun, serious is also quite welcome. H/C is a good thing.

{3} Hallucinations. Author decides why, how severe, and what. Just curious to see Wilson go a little nuts.

Okay, I feel I've been fairly useless since I've only posted one fic, so I have a couple bunnies to put up for adoption.

1. Before the ketamine wears off, House loses his cane. Turns out he accidently left it in the clinic where a crazy patient happens to see it and beat the hell out of Wilson with it. House finds him all bloody and broken.Major Angst, People! YAY!

2. This one will probably be more believable as slash, but if you can write it well as friendship than be my guest. Anyway, House and Wilson go on vacation together somewhere cold. They share a cabin, and Wilson either gets very sick or injured badly but they get snowed in and House has to take care of him on his own until they can get help.

3. And finally, I love all fic where House finds Wilson in mid-suicide attempt. (I even wrote one myself) If anyone wants to try their hand, I'd be forever greatful!

Well, that's all I've got for now. Just make 'em really full of angst and h/c! I'm not much for humor fics or minor injuries. Want can I say? I'm an angst junky! Hurt/comfort fics are my vicodin! (Oh, and I'm a big slash fan too, so if you can find it in your hearts to stick that in somewhere...;D)LOL! Good luck guys! Please feed the bunnies!

I am obviously really weird, but I'd love to see an ongoing eating disordered-Wilson fic. *cringes* It would make me very happy. I've been tossing around ideas and have snatches of one written but I just can't get it to work out right.

I may have to play around with a couple of these ideas! Some of them are just deliciously twisted.

i know i probably shouldn't request this (i've lurked about house_mst enough to see it done so horribly bad that its beyond a sick mockery) but i kind of want to read a self-harm!wilson. a good self-harm fic. were the disorder is, you know, portrayed accurately. none of that whiny, emo, 'my boy/girlfriend broke up with me' crap.

it'd be h/w, of course, preferably pre-slash or first time. also, i have a bit of something that could possibly be used for dialogue or whatnot. it doesn't have to be used, but it would be uber cool if it was.

"Cutting is like...Imagine you have a balloon with confetti in it. Blow up that balloon, increasing the pressure, making it bigger and bigger. And the confetti is just waiting to come out. Then bang! While I've done plenty of depressing and dark fics, I somehow just can't see me writing suicide/suicidal or self-harm fic for Wilson. Well, I guess not cutting or real obvious physical injury (burning, punching wall, etc.). Wonder why... o__0 Um, but who knows. Maybe a muse will eventually bite and suck it out of me.

Plot Bunnies from Beyond the Grave!!!

Since I've borrowed many plot bunnies and boiled their rabbity goodness I wanted to give some of my own. They are so cute and furry aren't they?

1.) Opening Lines: Take them and use at your own peril. Make them as House/Wilson and angsty as possible.

“House should've been crying.”

“Wilson didn't enjoy the pain, but he was starting to get use to it.”

“House had never seen such a broken soul before.”

“Love hurt so bad Wilson was sure thats what he was dying from, not the bullet lodged in his chest.”

2.) I would love to see a story where House has to diagnose Wilson. I know there are a lot of those out there, but I'd like to see one where House and Wilson are already together at the time of said diagnosis. Very h/c, very angsty. Come on, I know you can do it.

3.) House leaves town for a weekend and Wilson gets really ill.

4.) Phobia Wilson! Any phobia will do, as long as Wilson gets hurt in the process.

5.) House and Wilson in an earthquake, or hell any natural disaster will be fine.

I might try this one. I've been doing research on Rhabdosarcoma for another story but decide to use a different cancer. It fits as Rahabdo is aggressive, has a low servial rate and is typically a childhood cancer.

Wilson experiences a severe head trauma, most probably from a car accident, the important thing is though that his head gets hit hard. This is an idea for a brain-damaged!Wilson story.

He spends the next week or so in a coma, waking up and seeming rather normal. But they discover that something's amiss when he tells House that he looks just like his best friend, House. So he can still recognise his face but is convinced that it *isn't* him.

When you see a face, the image gets transferred to the face recognition center in the brain. Once you recognise it, the information travels further to that part of the brain that is in charge for the appropriate emotional response to the face you see. Is the connection between those two areas damaged, you can recognise the face, but because the emotions attached to the person are missing, you immediately assume that it can't be the person you have feelings for, but someone who just happens to look like them.

Another symptom of hat kind of brain damage is this; you just met a person, talked to them, thy walk out of the room. Five minutes later they come back and you think they're someone else again.

I have this scenario in my head of House sitting next to Wilson's hospital bed, talking to him, then he walks out to bring him some coffee or chips or jello, and when he comes back wilson says "No, thank you, there's someone else who just left to get me some of that."

Or perhaps they have a fight, and when House has enough he just goes out and comes back a few seconds later as "someone else" to calm Wilson down again. "Yes, I know, that guy can be a real asshole. But he's probably just exasperated because of the whole situation." - "Probably." Like a reset button.

Wilson could talk to him about his best friend, too, give some revelations and talk about things he'd never tell House.

Finally I'd like to say that this kind of brain damage can't be treated, but it can heal by itself.

Here's some ideas I have.

1. House actually knocks Wilson out with his cane....I could see House get annoyed with Wilson for breaking his cane....
2. Wilson gets an infarction...maybe in his arm?
3. House gets a new pet, and Wilson ends up having severe allergies to it. Hey, it could happen...
4. Wilson helps out at the animal shelter...he could catch something there. Plenty of zoological viruses out there...like rabies, for example.
5. Wilson turns out to be just like that 'girl' in "Skin Deep"...except in reverse
6. Wilson develops mirror syndrome...oh the possiblities there...
7. Wilson gets addicted to the internet...has the potential for being written as a metafic...

The burden of taking care of House, Amber, and cancer patients (could throw an ill family member in there too) overwhelm Wilson and he breaks down physically and/or mentally.

I try to see the situation realistic. It is asked for possible contents, in which James E. Wilson suffers, up to the bones. Well, such scenarios quite lie in the bounds of possibility. We should however always keep the character in the eye. For example its work and its ambitions cause for speculations of all art. taking we offers, to Dr. Wilson is quite not only in the heart a Samariter, as the authors of this series represent it, but used up itself its occupation with whole soul. We continue to assume, since we know practically nothing about its kind, how he spends its days of holiday that he prefers it, in crisis-vibrated areas and countries of this earth to participate as a member of the group of "physicians without borders" and function its time also outside of the PPTH as a physician. We know that countries have such as Afghanistan or the Sudan a minimum medical basic equipment. And practically only what is introduced from outside, to the treatment is also actually suited. If we proceed now from the hygiene, which conditions out and the continuously carried out systematic self destruction out, which this character in a route exists carries out daily, the possibility, by a small injury, prefers themselves the legs, which can be protected the environment the climate and the general ready for violence situation only slightly, when torsos, arms and heads, by unsatisfactorily nutrition, bad self-sufficiency and in the long run by adjustment difficulties to the climate, infections to form, these to be ignored be able, what capable of I quite think it and itself from it a marrow inflammation developed. I think that I meet exactly the point here, which concerns the suffering ability of humans. okay, so i've now gotten a real good look at this community (i'm a n00b) and i <333 what i see. here are two plots i havent seen that i think would be interesting.

1. Wilson has a bleeding ulcer, and he ignores it and when House starts to suspect he of course tries to keep it underwraps.

2. Something involving Wilson having sever Cachexia. I think it would work best as the cause being something really off the wall.
