Mod post -- Important info re: f-locked posts

We're going to be doing some end-of-the-year housekeeping over the next few days, most of which is just boring mod stuff to make it easier for us to maintain the comm and prepare for some activities we have planned for 2010.  But if any of your stories are currently listed on our sick!fic lists, the upcoming link test could affect you.

We'll be testing all of the links on the sick!fic threads to make sure they still work, are easily accessible to our members, and to see if we need to update any information, etc.

If you posted stories to sick_wilson using a fake cut to your LJ, or a very enthusiastic fan of your work recommended them, and those entries are now f-locked, we regret that we cannot continue to include those stories on our sick!fic lists per general info item #2.

So we'd like to encourage you to:

• post the actual text to sick_wilson as f-locked entries so that any member of our community who's logged in can enjoy them; or


• if you've cross-posted your stories to another site that's easily accessible, e.g., FanFiction.Net, please let us know, and we'll be more than happy to redirect the links.

The deadline to post (or repost) your stories or provide us with alternate links is Monday, January 11th.  You can e-mail us at the address listed on our profile page, or PM geekygecko.

12-31-09 update:  Now that we've moved f-locked and broken links to the new Orthopedic Ward thread, the Jan. 11th deadline no longer applies, and you can contact us at any time.
