Hee, when I visited Canada my friend introduced me to poutine. Down here we're partial to cheese fries. I had a dickens of a time telling the fine people at A&W all they had to do was leave off the gravy. You'd have thought I was crazy. :P

LOL! That's probably because it's the gravy that melts the cheese so you would've ended up with fries and solid cheese curds on them. :\ Poutine is awesome though! :D

That so reminds me of trying to ask for a 'bloody caesar' on a British Airways flight to England. No clue what we're talking about. They never heard of 'clamato juice'. Ended up with a bloody mary which was 'disgusting!'
Must go easy on the poutine - yummy but a definite artery-clogging no-no!
