Repost of my (LATE) entry for The Triple D Challenge/Game

I'm posting this again as another separate post because once again I'm late to the party and I didn't know if anyone still looks at the original comment thread.  If anyone still wants to play The Triple D Challenge/Game - here's my offering:

"Those little monsters really got me. And they came so FAST!"
"Campers after you again?"
"Very funny! If only. It feels like a third degree sunburn."
"Hope you're not allergic to them. Here … *rummages in first aid kit* ... Try this ointment."
"Feels better just putting ice water on them ..."
"But that won't heal anything, and you don't want to get an infection."
"I'll keep the whole area clean."
"And you won't scratch it or touch it. Yeah. Put the ointment on it. And next time watch out where you lie out to tan!"

Any guesses?  (Hint - this is based on a personal experience)

That actually sounds like hell! I'm glad my country doesn't have 'em lol. That said, I haven't been so much as stung by a bee or wasp so I guess I'm lucky.

Bees I don't know, but wasps are no fun. Especially when you discover that they can actually sting you through (light, summer) clothing. But yes, I guess it's better than ants.

great story Brindlewolf, and sorry you tried it yourself.

Were the little monsters fire ants?
