First times at anything can be scary and dangerous.

The first time 5-year-old James rides a two-wheeler without training wheels, he hits a curb and flips over the handlebars, then spends a week in the hospital with a severe concussion; he refuses to try to ride again for five years.

Climbing onto a vintage motorcycle for the first time, 41 years later, is the easiest thing he has ever done; perhaps it's the company.
