Camp Wrap Up...

And so we come to that time of year again, when we extinguish the fire, roll up our sleeping bags and pack away the insect repellent.  Yes, it’s the end of camp for another year, but, oh my, what a time it’s been!  As always, we go home with many wonderful memories and some of us even made a few friends during our stay.  This year we had 40 campers who earned a total of 486 badges.  We’re pretty impressed!

A huge thanks to our wonderful camp counsellors, who did the most amazing job of keeping Wilson in the infirmary and us all busy worrying about him.  Without them camp just wouldn’t be…well, camp.  So stand up and take a bow barefootpuddles, petitecuriosity, 3rdgal12, alternatealto, menolly_au and deelaundry.  Y’all have been awesome.

Don’t forget that although camp is over, sick_wilson is always open for fics, drabbles, poems, macros, and vids, and we’ll gladly accept any late camp entries you might be finishing off.  There may not be badges but they will be appreciated.

So, on behalf of myself and the mod team, yarroway, srsly_yes, geekygecko and xgraciela, thank you for another wonderful camp, and we’ll see y’all soon.

Just adding my thanks to everyone else's -- you all are wonderful! There's so much to running the Camp that goes on behind the scenes, and you folks make it look so easy. Thanks for another wonderful camping experience, and I hope House nurses Wilson back to health in time for next summer's camp.

There is a lot that goes into running camp, and we were delighted to have you here to help us this year. And yes, it's nice to think that House is taking good care of Wilson until we get our hands on him next time :)
