HALLOWEEN CHALLENGE


It's October...
It's time for candy apples, costumes, and horror-movie marathons on cable
It's time for the Halloween Fic Challenge!



We've conjured up a fic challenge for some spooktacular sick!Wilsony fun.

Write a story with a supernatural and/or Halloween theme--whether real or imagined. Stories can be set at any point in the timeline, go wildly AU, whatever you like!

For example, Wilson could:

Get bitten by a clinic patient who thinks he's a vampire
Meet a werewolf
Die and come back as a ghost
Just think he's a ghost, or that someone is haunting him (e.g., due to a fever, head injury, adverse drug reaction, exhaustion, etc.)
Or whatever your sick!Wilson heart desires!

And if you have a great idea for a fic, you're welcome to submit it as a prompt in the comments section below.

The "dead"-line is Wednesday, October 31st, but we won't turn you into a newt if you post your story a little late. ;)

So go dig into your bag of tricks, and come up with a real treat for your fellow sick!Wilson fans. Happy haunting!

Yay! I am looking forward to this.

I hope some people will write ghost!Wilson fics that aren't terribly sad. i hate death fics, but somehow if Wilson is a ghost that House is aware of, then it is all fine for me. :)

Hey yarroway,

Is there a way to see all the Halloween Challenge fic lists (from all years so far) in one place? Same goes for other challenges, I suppose. I know that Camp has a summative fic list posted each year. Would be great to see all years of each challenge listed together. Digging down through the challenge/activity tag is... less than ideal.

As you may recall from my previous Sick!Wilson-mod fangirling, I know that you folks are the absolute best at indexing and cross-indexing, so I'm guessing this would be a fun project for some of you.
