Rating: PG-13 because there’s a bit of blood and gore and the name has a swear word in it.
Summary: Every year Wilson holds a huge festival type thing for his child patients who won’t make it to the holidays. He forces House to perform a magic trick for the kiddies and he gets hurt, very badly.
Warnings: Slightly out of character, a bit violent, but not much else worth mentioning.
Characters: House and Wilson close friendship, borderline slash, lots of patients and their parents.
Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to the show or the characters.
Author's Note: So, I've been working on this drabble for about two weeks now but I finally got it worked out.Every July, Wilson does this stupid thing for his cancer kids: equal parts Christmas, Halloween, and county fair. This year, he convinced me to do the magic show.
“Now, I will saw my lovely assistance in half,” I announce. Everyone giggles as Wilson climbs into the box. The blades slide into place. Blood sprays everywhere. Parents scream, kid cry, Wilson howls with pain.
“36 stitches!” he shrieks later.
“Chicks dig scars! I get loads of tail ‘cause of my leg.”
“That’s not...” Wilson rolls his eyes.
“Sorry,” I whisper, once he’s asleep. “Just get better, okay? You’re all I’ve got.”
