55 Word Fanfics
This summer at camp, we had a three sentence story challenge. It reminded me of a book my aunt got for me a few years ago. Because I’m a writer, people are always giving me notebooks, pens, fictional works, and nonfiction books on writing and/or writers. This book was called The Shortest Stories in the World, or something like that, and was filled with stories that were exactly 55 words in length. The company who made the book was taking submissions for 55 word works at the time but I don’t know if they are still accepting new pieces. I did find their website. You can email me if you are interested in it.
Anyway, back to Wilson. Try and write a story using as close to 55 words as possible (exactly 55 is best but if you have to be over or under it is okay) about Wilson getting sick or injured. Post your results in the comment section. I know this isn’t related to the Renaissance but hopefully you can find a way to write stories about Renaissance diseases, the Renaissance Fair, or even something where Wilson lives in/travels to the Middle Ages. I think this is a good challenge for people to try out because it doesn't take as much time as a longer story or an art piece.

“We’d be fine if you hadn’t run off.” House examined his husband’s wounds. “No infection, sutures holding…we met Robin Hood!”
“He shot me!” House giggled. Wilson swung at him.
“Stowaways on my TARDIS!” The Doctor screamed. “Back where you started; get out!”
*In case it isn't completely obvious, the comments go Wilson, House, Wilson, The Doctor (it's another Doctor Who crossover)
