Sick!Fic Trivia Tag Game
Since celebrating the past is a big part of RenFest, we thought we'd take a trip down memory lane with a sick!fic trivia tag game.
We'll post the first clue in the comments section below. The first person who guesses the correct answer becomes 'it,' and starts a new comment thread with a new clue, and so on.
Clues can describe the title of a fic, an author, or a detail within a fic. And if you'd rather include a quote or short excerpt from a fic instead of a brief summary, that's fine. Just don't include any info that's too spoilery, in case someone hasn't read that story yet. ;-)
But don't make your clues too hard to guess! The object of the game is really more to jog our memories and reminisce about sick!fic days of yore, and inspire us to go back and re-read some old favorites. Well, that, and to have a little harmless fun at Wilson's expense. ;-)
Ready? Cool! Let's get started.

Clue #1
He wasn't rich or famous, but he was the head of department at a prestigious East Coast teaching hospital and while he was single (again) he had plenty of nurses and other doctors of the female persuasion to choose from at said hospital. Plus he was living in a hotel, which meant he had no sheets to change, no laundry to do, and no dusting ever ever again unless he really got the urge to sniff some lemon-fresh Pledge, which, let's face it, would be kind of a weird kink. He should have been Happy.
But he wasn't.

"Probably broken," the EMT tells him. "You're going to need to get it checked."

He holds Wilson's head steady with his other hand; he's used to touching Wilson now, to holding him. He doesn't mind now.

House scoffed at this. “You lost the ability to give consent the moment you starting fondling that snowflake. If you were that desperate…”

"Oh, god, don't hug him," House exclaimed. "I'm putting a restraining order on him. No women within 100 yards without strict supervision. Wilson is the Henry II of medicine. He could have conquered Europe, but he had women in his life."

Wilson turned his head and looked at House. Why did I think I could hide this from you, he asked himself. House saw everything.

He dreams about the cool water circulating around him in the silent, bottomless oasis, the hues of blue, the siren’s song of death and impending doom that sings like a Sunday afternoon. It calms and pacifies him under a deep, unconscious spell. He can remember every moment of being in the salty sea, the sweetness and warmth that flooded through his veins – how suddenly he could breathe more than he ever could before.

The stupid, wiseass part of his brain that never shuts up can’t help but observe that House has his lips pressed to those of his best friend in a parking lot, therefore bringing the day to a new sort of low.
