Summer time brings summer fun--and all sorts of injuries and illnesses that could befall our favorite oncologist.

But don't take our word for it.

For this challenge, we want you to Google something like "summer hazards," and let us know what kinds of bad stuff could happen to poor Wilson this time of year.

Camp Sick!Wilson Orientation

Howdy, campers!

We hope everyone got settled in nicely, and no one short-sheeted your bunk or slipped a snake into your sleeping bag last night.

If you were here for Camp Sick!Wilson last year, here's what's different this time around:

1. Camp will only be open for 6 weeks instead of the entire summer.


2. We've changed the requirements for earning badges to accommodate the shorter time period, have some new designs, added a couple of new categories (Fanartist and Poet), and are giving out a Busy Bee badge to all campers that you can use anytime before or after our first badge ceremony on Thursday, June 10th.


3. And we have several camp counselors who have graciously volunteered to post some activities and help us out.

If this is your first year at our wonderfully twisted summer camp, or you just need a quick refresher:

1. You can click the camp sick!wilson tag to get an idea what it's all about.
   
   But basically, it's just an excuse for us sick!Wilson addicts to get together during the summer hiatus and inflict all sorts of woe upon Wilson.


2. Many of the challenges and activities will have a summertime, vacation, and/or great outdoors theme, like our fic challenge that we posted a little early to give you a head start.
   
   However, it's perfectly okay to keep posting anything you'd normally post any other time of year.  You don't have to wait until camp is over to go back to business as usual.  We can multi-task. *grins evilly*


3. As always, Wilson has to suffer from some type of physical and/or emotional distress here at sick_wilson.  The summer theme is just an added bonus--for us sick!Wilson fans anyway.  Wilson might not see our harmless bit of fun as quite so harmless. ;)


4. We understand that some of you may feel uncomfortable about cross-posting to multiple communities.  So if you post a sick!Wilson fic or other material elsewhere between June 1st and July 16th, just let us know, and we'll be happy to give you credit so you can earn a badge or additional stars.

To help you keep up with all of the camp-related announcements and activities, we're going to list them here and link this thread in the sidebar for easy reference.  Because after all, we want to make it as easy as possible to torture a certain oncologist.

If you have some cool ideas for challenges, games, or other bits of sick!Wilsony fun, you can post them here, and the mods and camp counselors will take them under consideration and do as many as we can.  And if you want to take the initiative and post the activities yourself, not only will you make your fellow sick!Wilson fans very happy, you'll also earn some extra Camper stars.
