Wheel of Mis-Fortune Game

Last summer GeekyGecko adapted a popular game show for play in Camp.  It was the most popular game we've ever run, so this summer it's back!

  • One person provides a series of dashes to represent a sick!Wilsony word or phrase.  It can be a diagnosis, a medical test or procedure, the title of a sick!fic, an author, a summer hazard that could befall our favorite oncologist, etc.

    • Use a / between words.

    • Include any punctuation, such as apostrophes, hyphens, commas, etc.

    • List the appropriate category as a clue. Here's an example to give you the idea:

      Category:  Diagnosis
       _ K _ L L / FRA _ T_ R _

    • You can guess up to two letters at the same time.

    • Wait until the person who posted the puzzle lets you know whether or not any of the letters are correct before anyone jumps in with some new ones.

    • Each time someone guesses correctly, the person who posted the puzzle will provide an updated version of the puzzle in that comment thread.

    • Once the puzzle has been updated, anyone can guess a couple of more letters, and so on until it's been solved.

    • The first person who solves the puzzle becomes the master of ceremonies for the next round, and starts a new comment thread.

    • You're welcome, yea, even encouraged to provide a link when someone solves your puzzle.

We'll provide the first one to get you started.
