Making Wilson believably sick is the name of the game here at Sick_Wilson. While a good fantasy or crack!fic is an amazing thing, realism is generally key to believability, and can be best achieved through knowing the illness/injury thoroughly. Not even House knows every malady -- hence the need for a team -- so what's a poor writer/artist to do? Get a SME!

A Subject Matter Expert ("smee") helps out with information about a particular subject with which that person has experience. Earn a camper point by volunteering to help writers and artists with a particular illness, injury, medical procedure, or care setting (rehab facility, hospice, nursing home, etc.) that you are familar with. Give your contact info, the subject you're volunteering, and how you know about the subject (e.g., you experienced it yourself, a family member went through it, you studied it for school, it's part of your daily job, etc.)
