Summary: Think Birthmarks 5x04 and everything that happened in canon still applies. However, House and Wilson are not just best friends. Wilson was adopted into the House family as a small boy and they have consequently grown up together as brothers.

A/N: Chapters alternate between timelines regularly (which is less confusing than it sounds). Every even numbered chapter takes place during Birthmarks and odd numbered chapter is from Greg's memory, but occasionally Jimmy's too. Also, for the sake of the story I have made Danny older.
