The Sick!Wilson Episode Tournament - Grand Final

There are now just two episodes left in the running for the title of Best Sick!Wilson episode ever - Wilson's Heart and The C-Word. Both crushed their oppostion mercilessly in the semi-finals.

The Social Contract and Safe both ran a strong race to get to the semi-finals but in the end could not withstand the power of the Wilson suffering represented in our two finalists.

We also had the largest Voter turnout yet in the competition - let's see if we can beat that in the final. Every vote counts! Will it be the extreme physical suffering of The C-Word, or the heartbreaking grief of Wilson's Heart?

As always your thoughts as to why you voted the way you did are welcome! Also, what is your personal favourite sick!wilson episode?

This poll will close very early on Friday Morning (Halloween) US time - the last day of our Ren Fest, and the final result will be announced shortly thereafter. If there is a tie the title will be awarded to both episodes.

Name that Episode - Guessing Game

Here is a tavern activity. All that means is that this game is much more interesting after throwing back a few lagers ;)!

I have posted a few lines of dialogue from a few episodes, and from that you have to guess the correct episode. If you guess correctly, you get to post the next bit of dialogue.

So that as many people who want to can play, I am putting three exchanges below, with varying levels of difficulty. Feel free to guess any of them (try to resist using a Google search if you can). If you need another bit of dialogue, just ask and I'll add on. And if you are sure of your guess, no need to wait for my confirmation, just post your own bit of dialogue for others to guess. And even if you don't want to guess, feel free to post dialogue in the comments section for others.

You can find transcripts at clinic_duty with the indexed archive here. And since this is Sick!WIlson, give yourself an extra lager if you chose an episode where Wilson is sick (he is almost always stressed, so that shouldn't be too hard).

Episode 1: (easy)

WILSON: How depressed are you?!

HOUSE: I'm not depressed.

WILSON: You faked... cancer.

HOUSE: It was an outpatient procedure. I was curious.

WILSON: Are you curious about heroin?

HOUSE: Not since last year's Christmas party


Episode 2: (medium)

WILSON: It’s a simple question. Has your life sucked? Tell her the truth. Tell her you were shot. Tell her...

HOUSE: She doesn't wanna hear the truth. She's looking for something. Looking to extrapolate something...

WILSON: She's looking to connect with you, and that's what's scaring the hell out of you. Tell her the truth.

HOUSE: There is no truth.

WILSON: [thinks] Are we role-playing? Am I you? I don't wanna be you.


Epsiode 3: (hard)

WILSON: I am in charge of our relationship.

HOUSE: It was a surgery. You were the surgeon. In that setting...

WILSON: You would pick up my laundry if I asked you to.

HOUSE: Go ahead, ask.

WILSON: Oh, I wouldn't do that to you.
