Discussion thread: Our sick!Wilsony dreams, hopes, and aspirations

Got any ideas as to what might happen to our favorite oncologist this season?  What you hope will happen, on the show or in fanfic?

Here's an open thread for you to discuss, speculate, analyze, overanalyze, obsess, and squee to your sick!Wilson hearts' content.

You're certainly welcome to post spoilers as part of the discussion.  And if you're a spoiler-phobe, and need a separate thread, please let us know, and we'll set one up.

As always, happy torturing!

No matter what happens, I think it will be the result of an emotional meltdown. Wilson may be grieving for Amber, but he hasn't let everything that he's feeling out to somebody, and that's going to end up hurting him.

Specifically, what I would LIKE to happen is that, after said meltdown, Wilson develops a fever and becomes delirious and says things in front of House that he would never say under normal circumstances.

My crystal ball (selling for half price on the seconds table at Irving's House of Magic) says Wilson is suffering from depression.

What I hope (and coincidentally, my ouija board confirms this) is that he swipes some pills (a la House) in the hopes of committing suicide, but House is on to him, and they have a heart-to-heart.

I just want him to be all needy at House and House to take care of him.

... I can dream ...

I think all the above are pretty central to what we sick!Wilson devotees want to see. It's not that we want our Wilson to be ill (at least not longterm) it's that we want to see some primary emotions come out of him in front of House. He's always covering up and doing what HE thinks is the right thing (eg. SO frustrating when he wouldn't talk to House about 'talking' to Amber) He is SO much more screwed up than House. At least with House he tells people (Wilson) what's going on with him. I think an admission of longterm depression, loneliness or burnout is coming, and while I don't expect him to sob on House's shoulder, wouldn't a heartfelt HUG be nice???

Thank you! It's one that I used for a story and pull out of my hope chest at times. Hope we get something like this. For now, I'm really enjoying glimpses into the solidity of their friendship.
