Howdy Campers!

Well, one more day, and camp comes to an end. *sniff*

I've had a wonderful time. I adored all the wonderful projects the mods and counselors provided, went Lady Gaga over everyone's creations, and had great fun chatting and getting to know people who were only user names before camp began.

Thought we could have a final networking event before you start packing. Here's a last chance for you to reminisce about camp, share a hug, and/or swap addresses ("friend") in order to stay in touch with each other during the year.

Criminal Minds! I like that show. I began watching when Joseph Mantegna came on board. The 100th episode was phenomenal, but lately, imo, the cases are stretching reality.

Other fandoms: I don't really have any other fandoms currently, but my fanfic progress (from the late '70s onward) has been Battlestar Galactica (original series), Starsky and Hutch, Hawaii Five-O, Star Trek: The Next Generation, The A-Team, House, and a little bit of Torchwood.
Other Interests: Sports (golf, field hockey to play, and pretty much anything else to watch), theatre, history, mythology, music. In terms of other TV viewing, these days I'm pretty much sticking to sports, the Food Network/Channel, and am waiting with very little patience for the season premiere of Mad Men.

Yay! I just wanted to say thanks to all the mods as well. I went from never having heard of this camp to being a counsellor in about 10 seconds and you guys made it easy and fun. Thanks so much! :D

Many of us will go through withdrawal pains when camp ends. I still have some camp stories to read (including yours), so I'll try to taper off slowly.

"Beauty and the Beast"--I remember that show. Ron Perlman is still working in heavy makeup twenty years later in "Hellboy."

I never wrote fanfiction until I discovered [H]ouse. You write so well, you must have been writing fiction before the show.

I've seen your other name around, and interesting, we seem to be drawing an "older" crowd to our community. [Trust me, at my age, I can say that. ;)]

A Studio 60 fan! We might be the only two. The show started out quite good, but it got a soapy toward the end. I think the show was marketed wrong. Half the viewers tuned in expecting a comedy, and the rest were confused because 30 Rock debuted at the same time.

Fandom can be a great hobby. Not only does it keep you off the streets, but it's a relatively cheap one.

What I primarily use my journal for: Blogging about my life. I really enjoy blogging because writing is something that is SO therapeutic. When I write down my thoughts, they are no longer part of me, and as a result, I don't "feel" them anymore. But, I like to rant about things in my life (like school, etc), or discuss House-related things.
Favorite House Pairing: House/Wilson forever and always. However, after watching bits of season 4 again, I really like Wilson/Amber.
Other fandoms: CSI:NY, 30 Rock, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Merlin, and Repo! The Genetic Opera. I have an addiction to pretty much anything that Gary Sinise (CSI:NY), Alec Baldwin (30 Rock), and Anthony Stewart Head (the latter three) have been in, so I've seen a TON of movies/tv shows that the three of them have been in. Its kinda sad. XD I've written about them all but Buffy and Merlin, and I'll probably write something for the two of them soon. But, all addictions aside, I love those shows/movie because they're very well written, have very round characters, and they are very enjoyable to watch.

Eh, I don't mind it either as long as it is well written. I can handle Hilson fluff but not Huddy fluff, my Huddy has to be gritty. I have read some really good H/C/W but there isn't much of it about. I always do like to throw a bit of a Cuddy cameo into my House/Wilson fics because she is such a malleable character - she can be supportive, annoyed, bossy, flirty or fun (whatever the fic calls for).
