Possible beta request

Dear all,
I have written my own unbeta'ed piece of sick!Wilson. Actually two of them, on fanfiction:

The first one is a midsize deathfic, and the second is a one shot.
Many commenters suggested that both pieces needed beta reading: they definitely do, and not just because I learned my first world of English when my age was already in the double digits. Some politely suggested that they might be posted here, possibly after beta reading and (for "It was my choice") significant expansion. 
I don't know if it would be appropriate to post them here, either as they are or (what I would prefer) in an improved version. 
So I ask for suggestions and for offers of beta reading. I know I'm supposed to put the beta request on hw_reqs, but I first would like to know if it would at all be appropriate to post them here. 

To the mods: please feel free to edit or delete the post if inappropriate. I'm a very slow learner.

Welcome to our little nook of the LJ universe!

And be not afraid.  Your post is entirely appropriate here.  We always welcome anything that features our favorite oncologist in some kind of physical and/or emotional distress, including requests for a beta or some type of technical assistance.

Per our general info/rules (http://community.livejournal.com/sick_wilson/122448.html), stories don't absolutely, positively HAVE to be betaed before posting to our community.  We just strongly recommend it since a beta can help to make a good story even better.

Thanks a lot! I still hope I'll find someone willing to beta here, otherwise I'll go ask at hw_reqs tomorrow. This community has better faq, less scary for beginners.
