Hope you started packing. Camp begins June 1st!

Yes, our Third Annual Camp Sick!Wilson is only days away, and counselors are busy inventorying and stocking up on supplies. Besides marshmallows and plaster of Paris for our favorite oncologist’s busted wrist (ahem, and any new injuries), what are you looking forward to this summer?

And I know what you’re thinking. We’re not talking about naked Wilson. Not right now, you naughty, naughty campers. Let’s hold off on that until there's a hot night when we short sheet his bed. Cold cream and binoculars will be on sale at the camp store.

Uh… where was I… right! Let’s push our brainstorming skilz into high gear. What would you like to do or see? Any new ideas? Any themes or specific challenges? What did you like in the past?

I'd like it if there could be more icon activities. As my icon collection is seriuosly lacking SickWilson awesomeness. But I am sure that any activities you decide on will be great and welcome.

I can never have enough icons of Wilson. Hopefully we will get a few with Wilson's splendid splinted forearm.

I need to know where the camp takes place. If it's north enough I'm so dark-skinned I don't need sunscreen. By the way, was a "get Wilson sunburned" already done? With bonus points for who gets the most interesting locations and/or reasons? That creamy skin really begs for a good sunburn...

Sorry, sunscreen is required of all participants. Wilson conducts sniff tests to check that you put it on. You wouldn't want to miss out on that?

Sunburn fics? Mmmm... With bonus points for who gets the most interesting locations and/or reasons? I'm sure those would be forever burned into my memory. :P Does anybody recall any?

I have to say that I loved, loved, loved the Random Prompts Challenge from last year. It was just so much fun trying to fit stories around those prompts!

I loved collecting the badges, too.

Maybe there could be a Comment Fic challenge, where a situation is posted, and then the campers write drabbles or other short fics in the comments that springboard off the situation to injure Wilson in a variety of ways?

And aren't I awful? The poor man just missed being run over by his best friend, who now seems to have fled the country (either physically or mentally, or possibly both). And yet here I am, wanting to inflict further mayhem on him. What is it about Wilson that brings out the dark side of me?

As my contribution to Camp Sick!Wilson, I will tell you a true story that could apply to a fictional story about the aftermath of the season finale. An aquaintance of mine, a perfectly healthy woman, died from a broken bone. Blood clot.

Very sad about your acquaintance. Something similar happened to my dear friend's good friend. The lady was dancing with her husband, tripped into some furniture, and died by the morning of a blood clot in her leg.

Amazing fics grew out of the Random Prompts Challenge. I'm sure we will be doing that again. And love the idea of the Comment Fic Challenge. Yummy.

I love 'em, too. The writers for House seem to have a habit of teasing us Sick!Wilson fans, and then leaving us hanging! C'mon, just a cast? Really? I want a coma with House having an "Oh shit" moment and other Sick!Wilson goodies! *Sigh* Well, I guess that's what fic is for. ;) To fix what the writers got wrong in canon! XD

Thank goodness for fanfiction. I thought Wilson wobbled when he turned and watched House walk away. Maybe he has a sprained ankle?

Welcome, rookie! I think you will find our campers and counselors to be the best and most easygoing in all of camperdom. Even our favorite oncologist is incredibly patient with us as we put him through his paces. Or maybe he hangs around because of the GPS device attached to his ankle and the shackles on his bed. Hard to say.

I think having picture prompts might be cool. That was done just recently and some really good fanfics resulted from them. They could be pictures of summer camp items that could cause Wilson a great deal of harm ;^D

I can't wait. I need some good fic to knock that stupid finale out of my mind. Maybe we can all write broken bone fics that Wilson received in a way that wasn't his best friend trying to kill him and others. Then House can be the one to help get him patched up. :)

Yeah, I went on Vacation to my hometown in Iowa and flew out of Missouri. Two flights and lots of coughs later I landed back in ABQ. Not that you needed to know all that. :D

I know he is but I'm not actually a fan of making him sick, just hurting him. ;) Gosh it sounds so weird to say that out loud.. LOL

I think most writers have a penchant for a particular form of torture for Wilson. I'm partial to traumatic accidents, cancer, and an array of sparkly vampire diseases. ;-)

Yeah.. I like the vampire, werewolf AU's unsurprisingly enough.. I've always been drawn to that kind of fiction.

I don't mind cancer as long as it doesn't kill him. I don't like it when he dies in a fic..

Yeah, I'm one of them. :) I try to keep an open mind when it comes to fics but for some reason, I can't handle death fics.
