Lucinda the Butcher? Challenge

Hello, campers! ... I said, "HELLO, CAMPERS!"

Today's challenge topic is mis-hearing. Create any kind of fanwork on that topic.

You can take the prompt any way you want. Angsty, funny, short, long, vid, filk, fic, poem, icon, drabble, art... Could be Wilson is losing his hearing, or he mis-hears something that causes an accident, or someone else mis-hears something that causes Wilson to get hurt or sick.

Or create a fanwork with Lucinda the Butcher in it. That works, too. :) ("Lucinda the Butcher?" was what a co-worker of mine thought was being said, instead of the actual sentence of "I'll send her the picture.")

I'm so sorry, this is going to make me sound like a total idiot, but...Lucinda the Butcher = I'll send her the picture = ...what? xD

the op apparently told someone "I'll send the picture" and her co-worker heard "Lucinda the Butcher." It's obviously strange and doesn't make any sense that s/he heard that but that happens sometimes. It happens sometimes if you work in a loud environment or if the people you work with don't speak the same language as you or sometimes for no reason at all. I can only imagine the sort of mayhem that might go on in a hospital over something misheard.

Yep, that's exactly what happened. I think a fan in the background was too loud, and so the message came through to my co-workers ears all garbled. Hee!

Exactly as mstrtruckslash said, a co-worker of mine misheard another co-worker of mine. "I'll send her" sounded like "Lucinda"; "the picture"(pronounced quickly and slurringly as "the pitcher") sounded like "the butcher."

Hee hee hee; it was funny!
