What about rabies?

From a bunny?

Rabbits can have rabies.

Bunnies at a petting zoo do not carry rabies.

They could.

If they did, all four year olds would be rabid. Hmmm… maybe you’re on to something there.

Are you done wrapping it?

Almost. Why did Cujo bite you?

I don't know, I was just stroking his ears.

Should have petted the goats instead.

They always try to eat my shirt.

Like I said, you should have petted the goats.

Very funny, House.

All done. Can we leave the kiddie area now and go on the rides?

I want to go home.

No way, I’m not leaving until I ride every rickety death trap at this carnival. And eaten every fried thing that’s not supposed to be fried.

Fine. But no upside-down rides.

You feeling sick?

I just don’t want fried Oreo vomit all over my car.

Fine. How about bumper cars?

Okay, go buy us tickets.

Why should I buy your tickets?

I'm injured.

It's a bunny bite!

Fine, I'll just wave at you from the sidelines with my injured finger.

It’s your middle finger.

Yep.

I'll go by the tickets, Dr. Doolittle.

I used to love Dr. Doolittle (the Rex Harrison one, not Eddie Murphy). I think House throws in movie references from time to time because he loves pop culture and it amuses Wilson.

I definitely think that House loves pop culture references and uses them to amuse Wilson. Case and point, this quote from "Needle in a Haystack," courtesy of clinic_duty:

Wilson: Ah yes, if it isn’t Dr. Ironside.

House: (removing gloves) Ah, if it isn’t Dr. I-Had-No-Friends-When-I-Was-Growing-Up-So-All-I-Did-Was-Watch-TV-By-Myself-Which-Is-Why-I-Can-Now-Make-Constant-Pop-Culture-References-Which-No-One-Understands-But-Me.

I loved that exchange. Thanks for reminding me of it. They did so many older pop culture references in the show that I am sure anyone under 30 missed half of them.
