The Real Mnstrtruckslash

Title: The Real Mnstrtruckslash
Summary:  Wilson develops narcolepsy, but he’s convinced it was caused by House slipping him drugs again.
Warning/ Disclaimer: I don’t own the rights to House, or to Wilson and I am not connected to Bryan Singer or David Shore.  It’s kind of silly on account of the prompt but it’s fun silly.  Also, totally impossible medically but that was how my prompt worked out.
Words: 200
Prompt: From the Insta-Prompt Fic Challenge.  I got “Wilson’s Stethoscope Explodes, Causing Narcolepsy.

“You dosed me again?” Wilson shouted, bursting in on me in coma guy’s room.

“Shh, sleeping patient.”

“I keep falling asleep, even when I’m wide awake.  You’re slipping me something.”

“Anything strong enough to knock you out would make you exhausted first, moron!  Besides, you drive me everywhere.  I’m a jerk, not suicidal.” Wilson tried staring me down.

“God.”  A look of realization washed over Jimmy’s face.  “My stethoscope exploded last week.  One of the shards got in my eye.  It was small.  I thought it’d fall out on its own…”

“And what?  You think it worked its way into your bloodstream, then brain, causing narcolepsy?”

“Stranger things have happened,” Wilson said defensively.

“They happen you to way too often, especially lately.  Wait.  Today’s the 17th, right?”

“No—it can’t be camp…the show was canceled!”

“100 plus episodes.  The show’s syndicated, reruns air almost daily.”

“So this could happen every year?  For how long?”

“Few years of camp, but the Sick!Wilson community will probably keep running forever.”

“I’m hiding in the safe room all summer.”

“You’ll only make it more fun for them.  Radioactive bottled water or snakes in the cot.”

“I hate camp!” Thankfully he hasn’t realized I’m Mnstrtruckslash.
