mods, if this is malapropos, the go ahead and delete the post
Ever have the urge to not cure Wilson? Do you ever get the feeling that a certain character has run out of time? That their life should have an untimely (or not!) end? Or are you just in the mood to read something that'll make tears come to your eyes?
Then join
deathfic_md and get your daily dose of House MD death!fic (since I noticed that there are no comms specifically tiered to that category).
All pairings welcome for an angst/death/apocalypse fic community for anyone who loves taking canon just one stop farther.

Category: House/Wilson friendship; h/c, angst
Rating: PG-13 for language
Summary: House gets a wake up call regarding the long-term effects of his Vicodin dependence, Wilson struggles with a debilitating medical condition of his own, and in the process both men gain new insight about themselves, each other and their "stupid, screwed-up friendship."
Spoilers: I took a few liberties with canon and the show's timeline for my own devious purposes. This story takes place shortly after "Who's Your Daddy," and all subsequent episodes are simply figments of your imagination.
Disclaimer: The wonderful characters of House, M.D. are the property of Heel and Toe Films, Shore Z Productions, Bad Hat Harry Productions, NBC Universal Television Studio and a bunch of other nice legal entities who hopefully won't mind if I borrow them for the sake of a cheap thrill.
Author's notes: Thanks to
ggo85, who practically begged for a scene in which House performs a medical procedure on Wilson, and to the awesome
silja_b, for making sure that I portrayed it as accurately as possible. Muchas gracias, y'all.
