House MD News Needs New Editors for Summer/Fall 2011

Thanks to the sick_wilson mods for permission to post this here!

Two of our editors recently resigned their positions. The remaining three editors cannot handle the volume of links for each newsletter. Ideally we would like 4 new editors (one for each day of the week) but we will appreciate 2 or 3 new hands on deck.

We're asking anyone who is interested is that you be available for about 45 minutes on your designated night to go through the newsletter watcher f-list and list the happenings in the House LJ fandom for your day. Stable internet access and work schedule are a must. Responsibility & common sense are also helpful. Previous moderator/maintainer/newsletter writing experience on LJ is a plus! We'll give you the posting template and a guide to get you started should you be successful. You'll have posting access to the main community & the editors' water cooler at hmdnews_editors.

The editors will review all applications and come to a decision as soon as enough qualified applicants apply. If you have applied before and were rejected, this is your chance to try again. Crippled King

Occasionally while working under Cuddy’s administration, Wilson had mused that if he were in charge he would do things more fairly and efficiently.

He was summoned back into the board room.  Before he even sat down the chairman announced, “We’ve decided to reject you’re motion to rehire Dr. House.”

Wilson’s hands clenched under the table, “I was under the impression when I took the job as Dean I had some say over hiring.”

“Ordinarily,” he was told, “but not this time.  That’s our decision, Doctor.”

Nodding, Wilson stood and left.

What good was a King with an imaginary crown?

A/N: For barefootpuddles', The Literary Drabble Challenge. The prompt, "I am very sorry about this, but in all the circumstances there is no choice." (Taken from Hinge of Fate by Winston Churchill.) This is a very diluted interpretation of the theme, "Choice." It's similar in the same way diluted liquid soap resembles a cleaning product.
Summary: Buying furniture for the loft was an ordeal for Wilson, even with an interior designer's help. Two deleted scenes from 6x16, Black Hole.
