If you imported your entries from LiveJournal over to Dreamwidth, the links for multi-part fics didn't mystically and magically redirect themselves to go where they need to go on DW.  For example, if you included a link at the end of Chapter 1 to advance to Chapter 2, the link on your DW entry will take you to Chapter 2 on LJ.  So if LJ goes down, your readers may need to go on a bit of a scavenger hunt to read the rest of your story. ;-)

To make it easier for them to get from one part to another, you may want to consider redirecting your links.  And your humble mods would greatly appreciate it, because it would help to cut down on the amount of code we need to use for multi-part fics, which means we could fit more stories on each page in our emergency archives.

If it's been awhile since you've had to edit links and your memory is a little fuzzy, here's a quick tutorial to help you change your URLs so they go to the right places on DW.
