Beta? Pretty please with a cherry lollipop on top?
Is anyone up to doing a quick beta read of a ficlet?
The piece is about 900 words, and I am pretty solid in spelling and grammar. Mostly what I need is someone to see if the voice sounds like House. I wrote it in the first person (House's POV) - something completely new for me - and I need feedback. Also, the ideas House has about Wilson need to be checked for continuity in relationship to the show (I think I didn't screw anything up in that way, but a second pair of eyes is always good). My normal beta takes two to three weeks or more, and I really want to put this up for Camp Sick!Wilson.
If it wets anyone's whistle, a summary of the piece is that House is deconstructing - and mocking - the myths that exist concerning his friendship with Wilson. The sickness portion is in reference to mental illness.
I promise it would be an easy beta, that I take concrit very well, and that I offer virtual cookies and other assorted gifts. Anyone, anyone?

It should come just like a regular email lj notice. I included my regular email in the PM so you can use that if it is easier than doing the back and forth PM thing.
Work comes first, so if it is crazy, no worries. Just send it back whenever you're done with whatever comments or suggestions you have. :)
