Can you believe it's already the last day of camp?  Time flies when you're having fun, especially when it's at our favorite oncologist's expense.

And since we always like to send everyone home with something besides a wicked case of poison ivy and a newly applied cast or two (well, except for Wilson!), we've put a little scrapbook together as a souvenir.  So if you want to take a quick trip down memory lane, or just want to see what you may have missed, you won't have to go on a scavenger hunt to find everything. :)

Thanks to all of our campers and camp counselors for your contributions and enthusiastic Camp Sick!Wilson spirit, and we hope you enjoyed your stay here more than Wilson did. ;-)

So help yourself to the breakfast buffet, and the closing day festivities will begin soon.

*hugs y'all*

Thanks for the memories... )

Well Campers, here we are again, the last day of camp. It's always a bittersweet occasion, particularly this one, since it marks the series' end.

How can anyone not get emotional? Saying goodbye to new and old friends, regretting our decision to scarf up a strawberry shortcake instead of joining in an impromptu game of pin the tail on the donkey--only to find out later the donkey was code for our favorite oncologist, and the tail... I'll leave it to your imagination. *shakes head* Darn it, can't do it all.

So while we wait around for the buses, help yourselves to the brunch buffet in the mess tent, take advantage of the great company, chat and hug it out!

As an icebreaker, here's a template for you to use. Please tailor it to your tastes, or whatever you feel comfortable with.

ETA: Just received word from House. Wilson's surgery was successful. Everything remains intact and should be in working order after a six week recovery period.

Gather around campers for our final badge ceremony of 2012! It’s been another wonderful year at camp – well, wonderful for us – and we had forty campers who earned a total of 486 badges. There were 15 Wilsoneer badges awarded, 9 Super Camper, and 9 inductees into the Hall of Fame (having earned both a Super Camper and a Wilsoneer badge).

And if that’s not impressive enough, we had a few campers who went above and beyond the call of duty, and continued to keep sending Wilson to the first-aid tent even after they maxed out in certain badge categories: [livejournal.com profile] brindlewolf, [livejournal.com profile] menolly_au, and [livejournal.com profile] mnstrtruckslash. Now there’s dedication!

So many, many thanks to y’all for your hard work, your creativity and your enthusiasm. Even if Wilson doesn’t appreciate it, we sure do! (Though I’m pretty sure he does love all the comfort you pile on top of the hurt.)

Clicky below to claim your badges, all new and shiny, just for you. Wear them proudly my lovelies – you earned them!

Badges be Here... )
